Property fire

Two fire engines were mobilised following a call to Fire Control reporting a fire in a kitchen. Upon arrival crews confirmed that there was a fire in the kitchen of a ground floor domestic property. One female casualty was rescued from the first floor bedroom, crews rendered oxygen therapy due to smoke inhalation. 

During the incident crews used:

• Two breathing apparatus
• One hose reel jet
• One safety jet
• One extension ladder
• Small tools
• Positive pressure ventilation fan

The cause is believed to be accidental.
