Property fire

Fire control received a call to alarms sounding and smoke within a domestic property in Bawdrip area of Bridgwater.

Control mobilised 3 appliances from Bridgwater and Burnham and officer.

Once on scene crews confirmed smoke issuing and crews forced entry to extinguish fire. Whilst crews were in the property, crews rescued 1 person from property.

Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 main jet to extinguish the fire that was confined to the kitchen only. Crews also ventilated the property using 1 positive pressure ventilation fan.
