Property fire

Fire Control received a call from a concerned neighbour reporting white smoke inside a neighbour's flat.  The occupant of the flat had already been evacuated.

Fire engines from Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and Woolacombe were mobilised.

Upon arrival, fire crews confirmed a fire within a kitchen involving a microwave.  Fire crews removed the microwave to open air and gave the occupant fire safety advice.  The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
