Property fire

Two fire appliances from Plympton and Ivybridge along with an officer attended a property after a report of a fire in the airing cupboard.

The fire was in the airing cupboard of the 2 storey detached property involving clothes, shelving and a light fitting. Approximately 2m by 2m was damaged by smoke and fire. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus sets, 1 hose reel jet, 1 safety jet, 1 thermal imaging camera, 1 short extension ladder, 1 positive pressure ventilation fan, small tools and forceable entry tools.
