Property fire

Fire Control sent 2 fire engines to reports of a fire in a property.

On arrival, crews confirmed the property to be smoke logged and all persons accounted for.  Crews carried out investigations to where the cause of the smoke was coming from.  

This was a 2 storey property, the fire was confined to an external air vent from a log burner.  It was extinguished by 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 thermal imaging camera, 1 hose reel jet and 1 safety jet.  Fire Crews administered oxygen therapy as a precautionary measure to one occupant.

The smoke caused approx 20% damage to the property.
