Property fire

We were called to a barn fire just outside of Cullompton along the Five Bridges Road. The barn measured approximately 10m x 25m and was used for general storage.

We sent five fire engines, one water bowser and a command unit. We tackled the fire using two main jets, one hose reel jet and one compressed air foam jet. 

We removed 20 LPG canisters, three propane canisters and one butane canister from the barn, none of which were involved in the fire.

The barn was 80% damaged by fire, 20% damaged by heat and smoke. We revisted in the morning of 24 August to check and dampen down any hotspots.
