Property fire
Fire Control received a call from the Police reporting a fire in a property.
Control immediately mobilised 3 Fire Engines, which came from, Bridgwater x 2 and Burnham On Sea, 1 Aerial Ladder Platform from Bridgwater and a Supporting Officer.
Once the first crew got in attendance they sent back an assistance message of 'Make Pumps 8 and Make Aerial Ladder Platforms 2"
This request was made because the property was fully involved in fire with smoke and flames issuing through the roof of the premises.
Crews got to work using 2 Hose Reel Jets - 1 45mm Attack jet to tackle the fire as well as 1 Ground Monitor to cool a nearby propane tank.

Crews confirmed this is a 2 storey property measuring approximately 25 x 35 Metres fully involved in fire with no persons reported. Crews are currently at work using 5 x 45mm Jets and 2 Hose Reel Jets, crews are also getting the Aerial Ladder Platform to work.
Another assistance message was received this time crews requested a Water Bowser for additional water supply at the incident.
Western Power have also been requested to attend this incident to isolate the mains electricity to the premises.
Wales and West Utilities were also requested to attend this incident to isolate the gas supply to the premises.

This incident has been split into sectors to enable crews to fight the fire on multiple fronts. Crews are currently using 1 Aerial Ladder Platform as a water tower, 2 Hose Reel Jets, 4 x 45mm Attack Jets, 4 Breathing Apparatus Wearers, 1 Triple Extension Ladder and a Light Portable Pump.

This is a 2 Storey premises measuring approximately 25 x 35 metres constructed of conventional brick with a tiled roof. This premises has an arrangement of outbuildings, 100% damage caused by fire - crews have used 10 x Breathing Apparatus - 5 x 45mm Jets - 4 Hose reel Jets - 2 Triple Extension Ladders - a Thermal Imaging Camera - Gas Monitoring Equipment - Ceiling Hooks and Small Tools - the cause of the fire at this time is unknown and is being investigated by a Fire Investigation Officer who is on scene.
Crews will remain on scene for some time throughout the day checking for hotspots and damping down.
