Property fire

Two fire engines attended a property following a call to Fire Control from a neighbour reporting a fire outside which was spreading to and starting to affect a nearby property. Upon arrival crews confirmed that the house was well alight. 

Equipment used during the incident:

• Two breathing apparatus
• One hose reel jet
• One safety jet
• One positive pressure fan 

Once the fire was extinguished crews confirmed that a BBQ and other garden furniture was involved in the initial fire, which then spread to the property. The cause is believed to be accidental. Advice was given to the occupants before Crews returned home station.
