Property fire

Three fire engines were mobilised following a call to Fire Control whereby a concerned neighbour reported hearing a domestic smoke alarm sounding.

Upon arrival crews confirmed that there was a fire in the ground floor kitchen, gaining entry to enable them to tackle the fire. Crews led the occupant to a place of safety. 

Throughout the incident crews used the following equipment:

Two breathing apparatus
One hose reel jet
One safety jet
and

One positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke logged property
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
