One fire appliance attended a gas alarm sounding. The occupant had evacuated from the property. Crews requested assistance from a second crew.

Investigations took place using breathing apparatus, a gas detector and positive pressure ventilation. Carbon monoxide was detected in the property. Crews made the property safe, isolated the gas supply, ventilated, and paramedics carried out precautionary checks on one elderly occupant.
