Fire Vehicle Large

Fire Control received reports of a heavy goods vehicle on fire situated in a yard. On arrival crews confirmed one HGV vehicle well alight. Crews used the following equipment to extinguish the fire:

• Two breathing apparatus
• Two hose reel jets
• One thermal imaging camera

The fire is now confirmed out. The damage was confined to the engine compartment and cab. The cause is believed to be accidental.
