Fire - Domestic

Three fire engines from Frome, Warminster and Trowbridge were mobilised following a call to Control reporting a domestic alarm sounding within a property, along with concerns that there was also a smell of smoke.

Upon arrival crews gained entry to the property and confirmed that there was a fire in the kitchen. Crews confirmed that there was no one else within the property. 

During the incident crews used:

• One hose reel jet
• One main jet
• Two breathing apparatus
• One positive pressure ventilation fan
• One thermal image camera

Damage to the property resulted in 5% smoke and fire damage. The cause is believed to be accidental.
