Summary
This vacancy is initially for 6 months, with the potential to be made permanent. Applications are invited from existing suitably experienced and qualified Crew Managers and Watch Managers. Eligible applicants will need to meet the following criteria as a minimum:
- Be a competent Crew Manager
- Level 1 ICS
- Have good leadership skills
- Not subject to formal performance improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions
- Discussed the opportunity with your Line Manager
- Live or work within a 5-minute response to the Station
- Whilst it is desirable, it is not essential to have attended a Leading Others Assessment Centre.
From 1 April, we are introducing development rates of pay for any new individuals moving into a development or an acting-up role. These pay rates are set out by the National Joint Council.
