We have a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Administration Assistant to enhance our team based at our Service Headquarters in Exeter. You'll join us on a full-time (37 hours per week), Permanent contract, and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £28,624 to £31,067 per annum.
About the role:
As our Recruitment Administration Assistant, you will work closely with other members of our Recruitment and People Services Team to deliver an exceptional administrative service across all aspects of the recruitment and selection activities carried out on behalf of the Service, ensuring that all elements of the process are high quality, effective, efficient and supporting colleagues in the team to deliver the best possible service and candidate experience.

Key responsibilities of the Recruitment Administration Assistant:
The role involves administering recruitment and selection activities for all employee categories throughout the whole life cycle of the process including:
- Post recruitment adverts to job sites and post on social media about live roles.
- Arrange interviews with the applicant and panellists.
- Administer work related and psychometric tests.
- Administer vetting checks for applicants and current employees.
- Support the onboarding process for all new employees.
- Help manage the recruitment inboxes and go back to potential applicants with answers to queries.
- Liaise regularly with recruiting managers and providing guidance on using the Service e-recruitment system.
In addition to this you’ll:
- Be responsible for maintaining and updating essential spread sheets, databases, and systems.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to other members of the team where required.

The ideal Recruitment Admin Assistant should have:
- Experience of working in an office environment in an administrative role
- Strong IT and proven keyboard skills
- A good level of education
- Knowledge of basic office systems and procedures
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of recruitment procedures is desirable however not essential.
