Station Manager - Training Delivery Team Manager
Summary
The Service is currently recruiting for a Temporary Station Manager – Training Delivery Team Manager for up to 6 months to work in the Academy and be responsible for the delivery of Technical Rescue and First Aid training, applications are invited from those interested in the role as either a lateral move or a promotion opportunity.
From 1 April, we have introduced development rates of pay for any new individuals moving into a development or an acting-up role. These pay rates are set out by the National Joint Council.

Essential requirements for the role
- To have a working knowledge of the DEFRA CONOP
- Have understanding of the national boat code and impacts to training delivery
- Be conversant with current Training delivery model for technical rescue in service
- Have understanding of training approach for casualty care
- Have understanding for the need for clinical governance
Desirable criteria
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience of delivering technical rescue courses
- Qualified to deliver elements of the current SRT supervisor programme
- NEBOSH qualification

Eligibility Criteria:
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Watch Managers and Station Managers. Eligible applicants will need to meet the following criteria as a minimum:
- Be a competent Watch Manager
- If applying as a promotion, or for On-Call staff, have been successful at a Leading the Function Assessment Centre or ADC.
- Have good leadership skills.
- Not subject to formal performance improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions.
