Two fire engines from Bideford were sent to Sandhills car park after a call stating a food van was on fire. 

On arrival crews confirmed there was smoke issuing from the van and got to work using 2 breathing apparatus sets, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera. Crews were able to get access and removed 2 LPG cylinders to fresh air. The electrics were also isolated. The van measuring 3m by 3m was severely damaged by fire but was believed to be accidental.
