Fire Control received a call to a cow stuck in mud on the River Parrett near Wembdon, Bridgwater.  An Animal Rescue Tactical Advisor attended the location and requested the attendance of one pump appliance and the specialist rescue team from Bridgwater.

Fire crews rescued one cow from the river bank using specialist rescue equipment and released it back onto dry land.
