Bridgwater Fire Station

Refurbishment

Bridgwater Fire Station is to undergo a scheme of internal reconfiguration and refurbishment works to create self-contained restrooms and gender-neutral welfare facilities. The works will enhance workplace dignity and provide an inclusive, safe, clean and healthy environment for all our staff.

These improvements will begin in 2021 and are due to complete in spring 2022. The works have been carefully phased to maintain continuity of service. Station representatives have been involved in the consultation process and planning permission has been obtained to create new window openings, ensuring each restroom has natural light and ventilation.
