Fire control received a call from Police requesting our attendance at an RTC involving 3 vehicles on Four Elms Hill near Newton Poppleford.
Fire control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Sidmouth and Exmouth along with the Heavy Rescue Vehicle and a support pump from Yeovil. Whilst Yeovil were on route, Middlemoor's HRV and support pump become available and closer so Yeovil were stood down and Middlemoor were assigned.
Once on scene crews confirmed 1 person physically trapped. Crews extricated one person from vehicle using hydraulic and E-draulic cutting equipment. 1 Person that was extricated was then transferred to hospital via land ambulance.
