Property fire

Two fire engines from Barnstaple and Braunton attended a fire involving a tumble dryer in an outbuilding at a private hotel. Crews used two Breathing Apparatus 1 hose reel jet and a safety jet to extinguish the fire. A Thermal Imaging Camera was used to check for hotspots and a fan was used to rid the premises of smoke. The tumble dryer was completely destroyed by fire and the outbuilding suffered 10% fire damage and 30% smoke damage. The cause of the fire was accidental.
