Road traffic collision

Crews from Ilfracombe and Braunton attended a road traffic collision outside of Ilfracombe involving two vehicles which had collided head on. On arrival at the scene crews found one person trapped in one of the vehicles, and five persons in the other. Crews assisted the individual from one of the vehicles, and two of the occupants of the other vehicle also required assistance from crews to exit the vehicle. Small tools and stabilisation equipment were used to make the vehicles safe and help extricate the casualties. All casualties were then conveyed to hospital by land ambulance.
