Property fire

Fire control received a call from a member of the public and also Cornwall FRS who also received a call for the same incident stating there was an agriculture fire in the Pyworthy area.

Fire control mobilised fire appliances from Holsworthy, Torrington and Bideford along with a water carrier from Barnstaple.

Once on scene crews confirmed 1 tractor and diesel tank well alight. Crews were making efforts to extinguish fire using 2 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel Jet and 1 Thermal Imaging Camera.

At 14:54 crews passed a stop message to control to confirm fire involving 1 Tractor, 1 Diesel tank and 1 barn had been extinguished. The tractor and diesel tank were completely destroyed by fire and 1 barn suffered 5% heat damage. Crews extinguished fire using 2 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel Jet and 1 Thermal Imaging Camera.
