Property fire

Crews from North Tawton, Okehampton, Danes Castle, Crediton, Honiton, and Witheridge attended an incident in Lapford where a vehicle was involved in fire which then spread to a domestic property. Crews are currently still on scene but the fire is now out. A number of gas cylinders were involved in the fire and were removed to open ground and cooled. The fire was extinguished using six breathing apparatus, three 45mm jets, two hose reel jets, one 135 ladder, two triple extension ladders, one aerial ladder platform, and one thermal imaging camera. The property and three transit vans were severely damaged by fire.
