Fire control received a call from a member of staff at a block of offices on Armada Way in Plymouth stating smoke coming from a server room in the basement.

Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Greenbank, 1 fire appliance from Camels Head and 1 Aerial Ladder Platform from Crownhill.

Once on scene crews confirmed fire in the server room and they were making efforts to isolate supplies and extinguish the fire. Shortly after confirming this, they sent an assistance message to control requesting to make pumps 4. This fourth appliance came from Plymstock.

Shortly before 01:00 crews confirmed the fire had been extinguished and the electrics to the sever room had been isolated.

Update @ 03:49 - Crews confirmed fire involving server room on lower ground floor had been extinguished. A total of 7 Breathing Apparatus, 4 Dry Powder Extinguishers, 1 Hose Reel Jet, 1 Safety Jet, 2 Thermal Imaging Cameras and 3 Positive Pressure Ventilation Fans had been used to assist in extinguishing the fire. The whole building suffered smoke logging due to fire so sequential ventilation was carried out to clear smoke.
