This evening fire control received multiple calls to a fire on the embankment of a railway adjacent to the A384 near Buckfastleigh.
Fire control mobilised 1 fire appliance from Buckfastleigh to attend.
On arrival crews confirmed approx. 20m of embankment was well alight.
Crews confirmed the fire was extinguished using a Scotty pack and beaters.
