Fire control received a call from a member of the public regarding a fire on Chagford common, Dartmoor. 2 fire engines, 1 from Chagford and 1 from Moretonhamsted attended the incident alongside and off road vehicle from Chagford.
On arrival crews confirmed that there were 3 separate fire fronts each approximately 5m in length, crews got to work with beaters and successfully extinguished the fire.
This fire is believed to have been intentional.
