Fire control received several 999 calls reporting a car on fire on the A30 just outside of Exeter.
On arrival crews found this car well alight, but all the occupants were out safely. The fire was extinguished using:
- 2 breathing apparatus
- 1 hose reel jet
The car was 80 per cent destroyed by fire and 100 per cent smoke damaged. The cause of the fire was accidental.
