Property fire

Crews attended a property with light smoke issuing, and 2 firefighters entered wearing breathing apparatus. The smoke was coming from the kitchen, and was found to be involving the cooker with the hob left on. Crews put out a small fire fire using a CO2 extinguisher. A thermal imaging camera was used to check the property and a positive pressure fan to ventilate. The cause was accidental, and the damage was minor. Duty of care was left with the occupant.
