Support after an incident

Feeling different after a traumatic event is normal. It's okay to ask for help.

It's good to talk

If you have been involved in or witnessed a traumatic event, you may find things a little different or challenging moving forward. This is perfectly normal but please don't wait until you can't cope
before you seek help.

Talking to friends and family can be a great help in difficult times, but if you need more impartial support these organisations all provide free and confidential support and guidance.

Contact your GP

Your local GP surgery should be able to offer you an appointment quickly if you need urgent support for your mental health.
