Vehicle fire

A fire appliance from Bridgwater was mobilised following to Springway Lane at Westonzoyland near Bridgwater, after a car caught fire in the yard of a farm. The vehicle was well alight on our arrival but they soon had the fire under control, using 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish it, followed by a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots before making the vehicle safe. Unfortunately the car was destroyed but luckily there were no casualties.
