Fire Control received calls reporting a flat on fire at the above location. Upon arrival crews confirmed smoke issuing from the windows of the flat and deployed 2 breathing apparatus wearers to investigate. Upon entering the flat they confirmed a washing machine on fire and extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 safety jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan. The kitchen area was 100% damaged with 75% heat and smoke damage to the remainder of the flat. This incident is believed to be accidental. These are the full and final details.
