Crews were called to a report of a road traffic collision with two persons still inside the vehicle at Tin Bridge Roundabout, Glastonbury. On arrival crews confirmed this was a two vehicle collision with one person trapped in each vehicle, they got to work setting up equipment in order to carry out extrication.
Two persons extricated by fire crews using hydraulic and spreading equipment. One casualty transported to hospital by air ambulance and the second casualty taken by road ambulance. The incident was then handed over to the Police.
