Property fire

Earlier today, Fire Control received calls reporting a fire in a garage attached to a domestic property.

Three fire engines were quickly mobilised to the incident, reporting smoke and flames issuing on arrival.

Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, hydraulic cutting equipment, one thermal imaging camera, and small tools to extinguish the fire.  An entrance porch was 70% damaged by fire, outer wall cladding sustained 40% heat damage, a privately owned vehicle was 50% damaged by fire, and the residences was lightly smoke damaged.  

Two dogs were rescued and one cat was accounted for.  The fire is believed to be accidental.
