Property fire

3 fire appliances from our Greenbank and Camels Head stations in Plymouth were mobilised to calls reporting an oven fire at a flat in Archer Place in Plymouth. Crews were on scene within minutes and luckily all occupants had safely evacuated from the property. The fire, located in the kitchen of a ground floor flat, was soon under control using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet, followed by a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and then natural ventilation to clear the property of smoke. There were no casualties and the fire started accidentally.
