Road traffic collision

Crews from Kingsbridge and Salcombe attended a road traffic collision in Kingsbridge where one car had left the road and landed on its roof in a field. On arrival at the incident crews found one male casualty still within the vehicle. Crews worked together to stabilise the vehicle and made space so that the casualty was able to self-extricate. This was achieved using small tools, a triple extension ladder, general purpose lines, a dry powder extinguisher, and a hose reel jet. The casualty was left in the care of Ambulance crew. Police were also on scene.
