Fire Control received a call from a security company at a property claiming the alarm was sounding and the kitchen was full of smoke. 

Control mobilised Fire Appliances which came from Glastonbury, Street, and Shepton Mallet along with an Aerial Appliance from Bridgwater and supporting officers. 

Once on scene crews confirmed alarms sounding and smoke within the kitchen and dining area. 

Crews got to work using 2 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel Jet, 1 Safety Jet and 1 Attack Jet to investigate the cause of the smoke. 

Crews confirmed the fire to be out and got to work using 2 Positive Pressure Ventilation fans. 

The fire which involved a commercial potato boiler and a tea towel. 

The fire was believed to be accidental.
