Following a call to Control this morning reporting a fire in the back of an oven at a commercial property, three Fire Engines were immediately mobilised. On arrival crews confirmed that smoke was issuing from the rear of the shop.
Throughout the incident crews used:
- Four breathing apparatus
- Hose reel jet
- Safety jet
- Dry powder extinguisher
- Thermal imaging camera
- Positive pressure ventilation fan
- Small tools
The oven was removed to fresh air and crews ventilated the property. The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
