Firefighters from Torquay and Paignton responded to a vehicle fire in a building underneath a car park. Upon arrival they confirmed that the vehicle was well alight.
Crews used the following equipment to extinguish the fire and check for any fire spread:
- Two breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- Thermal image camera
- Positive pressure ventilation fan
The private vehicle was reported to have been severely damaged by the fire. Cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
