Fire control received a call to smoke issuing from a car in the Bridgwater area. One fire appliance from Bridgwater was mobilised to the incident.
On arrival, crews found a small fire within the car. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to gain entry to the vehicle and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Details were passed to the police due to this being a possible deliberate act.
