Property fire
Avon fire control took a call and passed it to Devon and Somerset after a report of a fire in an upstairs bedroom of a property near Frome and occupants were unable to exit.
One fire appliance from Frome, one from Radstock, one from Bath and one from Warminster as well as a number of fire officers attended the incident.
On arrival the crews confirmed there was a fire in the upstairs bedroom of the property but it had been extinguished by the occupants prior to the arrival of the fire service.
Crews used rapid deployment to ensure the fire didn't spread. Two breathing apparatus sets, one hose reel jet, one thermal imagine camera and one fire extinguisher were used. A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to ventilate the property. All occupants were safe and well.
