Road traffic collision

We received a call for a two vehicle road traffic collision near to the golf club in Holsworthy.  Fire engines from Holsworthy, Hatherleigh and Cornwall attended this incident along with a supporting fire officer.  On arrival crews confirmed this was a road traffic collision on the public highway with one person free and clear and a second casualty medically trapped within one of the cars.  Equipment used .. two sets of battery powered cutting equipment and stabilisation equipment, two trauma packs and small tools.  Both casualties suffering from leg, back and neck injuries and were conveyed to hospital by road ambulance and air ambulance.
