Property fire
Two appliances from Greenbank and one from Crownhill with an Operational Assurance Officer were mobilised following report of a domestic fire in Channel Park Avenue Plymouth.
On arrival at the incident crew confirmed fire in the first floor of a terraced property and requested the attendance of the nearest Aerial Ladder Platform. Crew gained entry using breathing apparatus, hose reel and a safety jet.
The Aerial Ladder Platform from Crownhill was mobilised.

Crew requested a further two appliances to attend the scene, one from Plympton and second from Crownhill Fire Stations were mobilised along with the Incident Command Vehicle and support appliance from Totnes crewed by personnel from Buckfastleigh.

Steady progress being made by six breathing apparatus wearers in the property, gas and electricity isolated to two properties.

Steady progress being made, crews turning over and damping down at the scene and removing roof tiles to check for fire spread.

Fire in two storey semi detached property, first floor 80% damaged by fire and 100% by smoke damage, ground floor 70% smoke damaged. Sadly one dog was deceased.
Equipment used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels, two covering jets, one attack jet, triple extension ladder, positive pressure ventilation, thermal image camera and small tools.
