Property fire

One appliance from Frome was initially mobilised following a report to the Fire Service Control Room of a fire in the area, on information given from further calls a further appliance from Frome was also mobilised. 

On arrival the incident commander requested the attendance of a further appliance for water, an appliance from Shepton Mallet was mobilised.

One coach well alight, surrounded by at least two caravans, crews at work with a hose reel, breathing apparatus and a main jet to prevent escalation.

Breathing apparatus crew are making steady progress on the coach fire, one cylinder has been removed to cool.

Fire involving a coach and caravan one hundred percent destroyed by fire, a neighbouring caravan has been fifteen percent damaged by heat, one fifteen kg cylinder removed from fire and now a safe temperature.

Equipment used one hose reel, one main jet, one thermal image camera and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
