Fire control received multiple calls from the public regarding a vehicle on fire on the A380a south near Hamelin way.
2 fire engines from Torquay responded, one of which was stood down on route. On arrival crews confirmed flames issuing from the vehicle which was still on the dual carriageway. Crews got to work with 2 breathing apparatus, 1 jet, small tools and a thermal imaging camera to identify and extinguish the fire.
This is believed to have been accidental.
