Property fire

1 Fire engine from Barnstaple attended a commercial property to reports of a fire within the premises.  On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a fire involving a waste compactor.  On site staff had isolated the electrics before fire crews arrived on scene.

This was a fire involving a commercial waste compactor.  Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 fog nail, 1 main jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and a drag fork.  The waste compactor was moderately damaged by fire and the cause was accidental.
