Fire Appliances from Middlemoor and Danes Castle were mobilised to Property fire.
On arrival, crews confirmed smoke was issuing.
Fire crews extinguished the fire using 2 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel Jet, 1 Safety Jet, a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan and a Thermal Imaging Camera.
The fire involved laundry that was on top of a cooker causing 60% fire damage to the kitchen and 20% smoke damage to the rest of the building.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
