Property fire

Fire Appliances from Burnham on Sea and Bridgwater were mobilised to a Property fire with persons reported.

On arrival, crews confirmed smoke and flames issuing.

Fire crews rescued 2 occupants from the property who have suffered from smoke inhalation and are in the hands of the paramedics.Crews also rescued a dog and a cat from the property.

Crews used 6 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Reel Jets, 2 Safety Jets, a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan and Thermal Imaging Cameras to extinguish the fire. The property suffered 15% fire damage and 40% smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
