Fire Control mobilised two Fire Engines from Greenbank to a Road Traffic Collision with possible persons trapped.
On arrival, crews confirmed one person was medically trapped and got to work with Hydraulic Rescue Equipment and Small Tools to release the casualty.
The casualty has now been released and is in the hands of the paramedics.
