Vehicle fire

A fire appliance from Bridgwater was mobilised to a report of a fire at the rear of a domestic garage in Tynte Road, Bridgwater. On arrival the crew discovered this was in fact an abandoned motorcycle, believed to have been stolen, and set on fire. They soon had the fire under control using a hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera but the fire was so intense it completely destroyed the scooter, leaving only the frame.The crew did well to prevent any fire spread to the surrounding area and there were no injuries, with Police being notified of the deliberate ignition before we left the scene.
