Property fire

Fire control received multiple calls regarding a domestic fire on Pennsylvania road in Exeter. 3 fire engines from Crediton, Danes Castle (Exeter) and Middlemoor, an aerial ladder from Crediton and 2 officers attended the incident. 

On arrival, flames were issuing from a domestic flat on the third floor of a 4 floor property. 

Crews tackled the fire with 4 breathing apparatus, 2 jets and ventilated with a positive pressure fan. 

This is believed to have been a chip pan fire and resulted in 20% smoke damage to the kitchen and 5% smoke damage to rest of the flat.
